The CAJO hosted a webinar for the students of the Hugh Wooding Law School on navigating the Magistrates’ Court. The webinar explored the key milestones and events in the lifecycle of a criminal matter before the Magistrates’ Court, addressed the expectations of magistrates, common challenges faced by attorneys-at-law, and recommended best practices. It also touched on issues of procedural fairness and the practical implementation of CAJO’s Disability and Inclusion Awareness Guidelines.
